Mental Spurt

Lately Landin has been surprising us daily. Just the other day while we were out shopping I was talking to Trev and happen to say seriously. The next thing I knew Landin was repeating it almost exactly!! Hearing a little toddler say seriously is soo funny! On top of that Landin can sorta say I love you, outside, up, down, Landin, Samantha (or Sam Sam), Dotti, mommy, daddy, bye-bye, cookie, tree, birdie,  juice, banky, Sponge Bob, gramma, baby, mine, truck, and no. Some of those he's been able to say for awhile now, but others just recently. He is really understanding a lot more now too. If you ask him questions he can say no (usually) or yea. I'm really impressed with him lately.

Other news: Trev is LOVING his job! He has finally found something he is good at and loves. Everybody he works with are so awesome and welcoming. This job is really just perfect for him! And for me, this Spring quarter starting in a week or so is my LAST quarter of regular classes! Yay!! I start my credential in Fall! I can't believe I am finally almost done. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't express how excited I am for school to be over, but I know it's only going to get harder before it gets easy or simple.

Let me leave you with a little LOVE.

Update

Trev has officially started his new job and it is off to a great start!! He got a brand new Hyundai Sonata (pretty sweeet!), new laptop, printer, camera, and all sorts of other little gadgets. Everyone he works with is very nice and has been welcoming him to the team. This job has been exactly what he needed, and everything we hoped for! I am so proud of him and it still feels surreal that he has such a great job.

My insurance company has determined that my car was totaled and the check has already came in! They gave me a lot more than I thought for my little car. Because Trev just got his new car from Subway, we don't have to buy a new one! I am going to drive the Chevy Cobalt. I guess that all worked out pretty well, because I don't know what we would have done with 3 cars anyways.

Landin had his 18 month appt last week. He weighed 25 pounds, was 29-32* inches tall, and his head measured 48 cm. He only got one shot, which he did great with. All around everything was great and he is right on track! He is talking A LOT more now. He says mine, up, hot, mama, go, down, ki-cat, awesome, nigh-nigh, hi, bye, Spongebob (bob bob), and juice.

**We can't remember exactly how tall he was. I say 29, Trev says 32, so somewhere in there!
